Dell Careers Eligibility Criteria:
- Advanced English.
- 1+ years of experience in a previous technical support role
- Basic/intermediate skill troubleshooting and Knowledge in any of: SAN/NAS Solutions, Modular Server- Storage Solutions, Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS), TCP/IP Networking / CCNA, Microsoft Server OS - Active Directory.
- Basic/intermediate Knowledge of current industry high-end storage products and technologies, and/or in one or more of the following technologies, Analytical ability to gather and interpret data , fault Isolation and Troubleshooting Methodology
- Comfortable with 24x7 shift.
Desirable Skills :
Certifications, such as: Network+, CCENT, CCNA or higher, Linux Essentials/ LPI-2 or RHCE, VCP–DCV, VCP-NV, or equivalent.
What you’ll Do
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced, customer critical environment, working on improving processes, standards and strategies to perfect our Support Services.
You will:- Resolve issues while working closely with multi-functional teams
- Provide feedback to Engineering for improving product quality and reliability
- Determine priority levels while negotiating and setting expectations with customers
- Ensure the customer is communicated with in a timely manner and treated with the highest degree of respect
- Drive excellence through quality closures and proper escalation of issues.
